Okay, here's the deal: I'm a creature of habit. I like to wash my face and complete other tasks before making my coffee each morning because I'm a true early bird. I usually prep for work, but on this particular day, I decided to take a break. And that's perfectly fine. A few weeks ago, I made the conscious decision to no longer ride the hustle bus and always be so busy that I could never sit down to enjoy my coffee and a less-than-healthy breakfast.
You know the days go by so fast and I find it overwhelming to not be doing life at your own pace. Sometimes, I just want to sit still and do nothing with my good ol'e morning.
Today, I did just that..absolutely nothing, and I feel so good.
So, here is one thing I want to share: that it took me decades to make my daily practice.
No matter how slow or fast life is moving, I must live in a way that brings sustainable peace, love, and joy into my soul every day. I know life is not a field of flowers, but it is what I make of it.
Therefore, I will eat what I want, go where I want, and wear what I want. And for the first time in my ageless life, I am not joking. What about YOU?
Last But Not Least...I am a bad example when it comes to eating at home or outside the home. So, if you are wondering, today I am having coffee with vanilla cream, boiled oats with brown sugar, milk, butter, vanilla flavoring, walnuts, and lots of oreos. I know, I know it's not healthy, but I only do this once a week...lol:)
If you've made it this far in my blog post, let's be friends and remember the clock is ticking for us all. So, what are you doing to soak up all the joy you can?Until Next Time, See you in A Bit!
